Joseph’s practice consists of advising on a broad range of securities and business law matters, with focus on mergers and acquisitions, public and private financings, corporate governance and securities regulatory matters.

As part of his M&A practice, Joseph has acted for offerors and targets on domestic and cross-border acquisition transactions, as well as purchasers and vendors in connection with asset and share purchase transactions. Joseph has acted as counsel to participants in the telecommunications, Internet and technology, real estate and manufacturing sectors.

Joseph is a former member of the Small Business Advisory Committee to the Ontario Securities Commission and, prior to that, served a 15-month secondment to the Commission. He has also served as an instructor in the Business Law Section of the Law Society of Upper Canada’s Bar Admission Course.
